Saint Thomas is a small, rural church incorporated in 1892 as a parish of the worldwide Anglican communion. The cornerstone was laid in 1893 and the first service was held in 1894. It has always been a small parish, rarely counting more than thirty households in its membership.

We welcome all ages to our church but currently have no specific activities for youth.  St. Thomas is an inclusive parish. We have a great appreciation for diversity of life, experience, and vision.

We follow the 1979 edition of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer.  Music is an important part of our service. The congregation is our choir.

Why did you come?
Why have you stayed?

I go to church to praise God, thank Him for my blessings, and worship with a great bunch of people.
St. Thomas is welcoming, and it does not emphasize ritual. If you want to sit, it’s all right to sit. For dress you can come as you are or however you’d like to dress for church.
…This is the place where I needed to be.
…Once we came in we saw a beautiful place, and maybe even more beautiful are the people that are here. It’s a wonderful congregation…
…And I love this place because surely the Lord is in this place.
...I was very happy when I got here because I find the spirit is here...
I came because I was looking for a church where people took their faith seriously, for spirituality, and a good community...
...It’s all good, and as long as the music holds up and everybody sings, I’ll enjoy being here.
I came to St. Thomas in 1975 when our oldest son David was two years old...
I spent 12 years driving past St. Thomas, on my way to Cornell to work on the supercomputer up there...
I came to St. Thomas because it was close to where I lived. Small, intimate, and absolutely beautiful...
...St. Thomas is a nice small community and everyone is very happy to have me here, which, I really appreciate. It is a really happy place and I always leave here happy that I came...
...I have stayed as an regular attendee, and in some respects, a faithful member all these years because the community of this little parish is one I value very highly...
...Eventually after years of not going to church, I started looking for that community again. And I found it here, at St. Thomas, and that's why I've stayed...
Beautiful church, beautiful organ, and beautiful people!
